What a busy week! Who'd a thunk being jobless could be so busy?!?
Monday I filed for my U.C. benefits. Tuesday I took the kids to the weekly free movie show (Spiderwick Chronicles - good flick). Wednesday we went to Ringing Rocks and Nockamixon(sp?) Parks in Upper Bucks County for some fun with the kids. When we got home, I got a text from a buddy about going to a fishing tourney on Lake Champlain next weekend - someone backed out and they had a slot paid for, just bring gear. Thursday I did some things around the yard (gotta do my chores before I go). Friday, we found a pinkie baby squirell in the yard that we tried to rescue after its mother never returned for it (sadly, he did not make it through the night despite our best research and efforts).
And of course, every night I search the job sites and talk to people about a job.
Not having a job is a lot of work........
